Fundraising at times may feel like both an art and a science, but it takes on a whole other dimension when both donors and beneficiaries are a partnership with God at the centre, using money, ministry and skill where it’s needed; not begrudging, not manipulating. Partnership in giving and receiving becomes a spiritual practice, as vital for our personal discipleship as it is for the work we do.
The difference between any other fundraising training and this, faith and fundraising, is one of fundamental perspective. As we think today about insights and trends, methods and tools, as people of faith we have the enormous benefit of remembering this: God is the ultimate giver. Whatever the challenges in acquiring donors or deciding where to invest our hope is in the One who has all the resources, and has entrusted them to us. It’s a reordering of convictions about money.
As Henri Nouwen puts it, “our confidence in our mission and vision, and our freedom to love the person to whom we are talking about donating money, does not depend on how that person responds… We can remain secure in God’s love.” When we start with God’s generosity to us it enables us to be generous to others, an antidote to materialism, good for our souls as well as for society. If fundraising is inextricably connected with faith then it becomes even more of an adventure.
Building on the success of 2025’s gathering, 2026 offers you leading speakers, on-hand expertise and invaluable in-person networking.
This will be another incredible day and not one to miss. Bring your team or come alone. Bring your questions and your ideas. Bring your prayers and vision for a common purpose to love God and love our neighbour, to inspire generosity and to grow in our ability to serve others. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Testimonials from attendees
Such a range of contributors and so much sense spoken. It lifted the spirits, informed the mind, and will vastly improve my practice!
So informative – lovely to have a platform where faith and work are influenced by one another and being trained practically to express faith in our approaches to work.
This was the first in-person conference I’ve attended in about 6-7 years, and it was a great way to come back into conferences again. I loved that we prayed regularly during it. The conference has given me lots to think about for our charity.
I loved the blend of devotional input and practical tips. The focus was clearly Christ-centred. I also enjoyed the blend of methodologies (panel discussion, speaker, etc.)
To be in the same room as so many like minded fundraisers was inspirational, especially as events like this are few and far between.
It was helpful to think outside the “church box” and given the wide cross section of denominations and church/charity organisations, there was something for everyone. Overall the speakers did well to remember there is a world outside the Anglican Church.
It had both an encouraging exhortation about the purpose of fundraising and a useful insight into specific funders.
We have waited so long for this headline to recommence, and it was great to be able to come together once more for fellowship with a purpose and get such strategic insights into our sector. It’s been the highlight of the year!
